This is a piano solo arrangement “Jasmine Flower Fantasy ” by Ala Gialla. It is based on the famous Chinese folk tune “Jasmine Flower” (茉莉花). It starts with a fantasy-like introduction, followed by variations of the main theme that appears in both primo and secondo parts, in various characters and moods, some more melodious and lyrical, others more rhythmic and march-like. It eventually grows more dramatically with expansive arpeggiations, only to calm down to a much softer dynamics toward the end, finishing on a softer note.
